This is by far one of my favorite wedding venues in Colorado. RiverBend located in Lyons, Colorado… You can see it listed on my BEST COLORADO WEDDING VENUES post. This River Bend Wedding was such an incredible day. I got to spend it with two really amazing people and all of their friends and family. This is the best thing about my job. Meeting the best people and having them invite me to capture one of the most important days of their lives. It truly doesn’t get much better than this!
Molly and Jason had their River Bend Wedding on an early September date and it couldn’t have been a more gorgeous day. We had some afternoon showers that moved through very quickly just as they typically do this time of year. The storms passed and the sky opened up and gave us the most gorgeous semi cloudy evening and slightly cooler temperatures for their reception.
RiverBend is such a unique venue as it backs up to a gorgeous river and cliffside. For a venue that is within about an hour of Denver, this one definitely takes the cake!
I have shot here a handful of times and it is always one of my faves. They have these romantic string lights over the dance floor that backs up to the river. A glamping tent and a cute little cottage for getting ready on site. And the river bend wedding venue also has tiny homes on their property that can be rented out to stay in. Seriously this could not be a more perfect venue. And the staff is PHENOMENAL! I can’t recommend them enough.
Jason and Molly had some really cute details at their wedding that just made it oh so special. Their dog, Bruce, was a big part of their wedding day. I knew when they told me their dog would be participating this would be an amazing day. They also had a beverage burro which was literally the coolest thing ever. One thing I really appreciated was the two of them taking my advice and allowing a good hour for portraits that day. We were able to adventure off site a bit and get them some really great portraits.
